“ΝΑΥΠΗΓΕΙΑ ΚΥΝΟΣΟΥΡΑΣ ΑΕ. (KDC) στην DEFEA”.

Kynosoura Dockyard S.A. (KDC) participated at DEFEA 2025, a high-profile international defence exhibition where international companies present land, naval, aerospace, national and cyber security defence systems. The exhibition took place from May 6 to May 8 at the Metropolitan Expo, Athens.

During the exhibition, KDC promoted its activities, which for over 50 years, include construction, repair and conversion of ships, upgrading and remodelling projects, installation of defence, security and communication systems using the highest technologies.

A 3D Print model of M/T OYRANOS A-416, built at KDC for the Hellenic Navy, delivered in 1976 and still in operation was showcased.

KDC also had the honor to discuss with the Chief, General Dimitris Choupis, as well as other Officers of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, about the prospects of the Greek Defence Shipbuilding Industry and the participation of Greek Shipyards in the Defence Programs of the Hellenic Navy.

The exhibition was a great success and KDC is looking forward to collaborating with new Greek and foreign partners and extending its operations in the defence and security sectors.
